El efecto de la palabra desabrida es más perverso que la propia sucesión de hechos. El impacto del lenguaje es sorprendentemente duradero. Es muy fácil constatar con los niños de tres o cuatro años los efectos indelebles de aprehender una palabra por escrito, de captar su significado plasmado mediante letras. Una actitud perversa la pueden imaginar con un dibujo sencillo —de un chimpancé empujando a otro al río o de una persona soltando una piel de plátano en la baldosa que está a punto de pisar un anciano—, pero en cuanto un niño ha aprendido a escribir “perverso” le quedará grabada para siempre esa palabra. El poder de la palabra escrita en los humanos supera todo lo imaginable. No me pregunten por qué.

el elefantito y la mariposa

vi un dibujo en el que veía, en un hueco entre los árboles, una mariposa llevando un elefantito. la mariposa era grande, pero frágil como una mariposa.
hoy dibujé el dibujo que entonces, en sueños, vi.

"... las Stolpersteine, unos cubos de latón incrustados en las aceras que forman parte de un proyecto del artista Gunter Demnig mediante el que se pretende recordar el destino de muchas víctimas del nacionalsocialismo. Hay que fijarse un poco para descubrirlas, las Stolpersteine (algo así como "cortapisas") están colocadas delante de las casas en las que una vez vivieron aquellas víctimas."
Un homenaje que deja a todos incapaces de no sentir.
